Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated August, 2025.

We at NourishED International (NEDI) are working to make our site, nourishedinternational.com, and our services  and practices inclusive and accessible.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, intentional site design, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We launched our website in late August 2025. We commit to regularly reviewing our site and content, as well as the available best-practices and standards, to ensure our site is welcoming and accessible. To date, we have:

  • Used the WIX Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text (alt text) to images

  • Implemented colour combinations that meet good practices in colour contrast

  • Used fonts that are usually easier to read and increased line spacing

  • Reduced/removed the use of motion on the site

  • Minimized the use of images on the site

As we further develop our website and services we commit to ensuring accessibility is top of mind. We will ensure future site sections are accessible either by doing work on our own and/or in partnership with those who know accessibility better than we do.

External Links

The accessibility of external page links depends on content that does not belong to NourishED International (NEDI). We actively advocate for inclusive products, services, and structures in the IE Sector, including website design, but unfortunately cannot ensure the accessibility of external links.

Accessibility and Inclusion Beyond our Website

NourishED International (NEDI) strives to ensure our services, communication, internal practices, and work with other organizations are built with inclusion and accessibility front of mind. We don't always get it right, but we strive to do better each time we make a mistake, learn about another best practice, or hear from you directly. To paraphrase a quote attributed to Maya Angelou, we are committed to do better when we know better.
