NEDI Career Matters

At NEDI we are focussed on collaboration and not replicating what is already available to support your IE career and career matters. We build upon and increase access to existing resources as well as develop complimentary training, mentoring, coaching, and other career supports.

NEDI IE Career Centres

Our Career Centres are both virtual and in-person. For these events we invite colleagues to sign-up as NEDI Career Advisors and/or Advisees for one-on-one career advice. We also organize small group career advising on specific topics and provide interactive activities for IE career exploration.

 

Our in-person NEDI Career Centres are held in partnership with organizations who host in-person conferences. Most recently, we partnered with the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) to host our inaugural NEDI Career Centre: Career Matters at the 2025 CBIE Annual Conference in Quebec City. At this inaugural event we welcomed almost 100 IE colleagues to the Centre as advisors, advisees, and/or guests. Sponsors of this inaugural Centre included Duolingo and Guard Me's Wellness and Learning Initiatives.
